It's Been a While

I got an email today requesting I update my blog I can't believe I have got so far behind. I honestly had every intention of keeping it current :) So here it goes I am going to try to put up a few posts in the next few days to catch you up on our little family.

The summer went by so fast and I feel like we didn't get as many opportunities as I would have liked, to go camping and to the zoo and I don't think we even made it to an actual beach.  But we did get to visit Melia in Yakima a few times and we also made it to Maggie Lake for some camping where we met the Joanis family who have 2 kids, a boy Landen's age named Bryce and a girl Izzy's age named Makayla both set of kids hit it off right away!  After a few hours of hanging out we found out that the boys were soon to be on the same football team!!!! Over the season I became friends with the parents and Landen and Izzy continue to be great friends with their kiddos.  It has been so great building a friendship with this family!

Family Reunion

I can't believe that it is almost August! This past month has gone by so fast! Me and the kids have been up to quit a bit this month, which I should start catching you all up on but 1st I will share with you our Newman family reunion. It was so awesome that so much of the family was able to make it to the reunion, My cousins from Kentucky, New York and California were all able to make it with their families, but the best part was my brother Blair who lives in Pennsylvania, my niece Abbi and my nephew Q were all able to come as well! I hadn't seen Abbi & Q since they were babies almost. We all had a good time hanging out at the reunion, we played games (I lost all of them) we ate lots of yummy food, and best of all we got a family picture with almost everyone, unfortunately a few could not make it. Here are a few of the pictures from that day.

Been a very busy last few weeks, photographing proms, graduations, and trying not to forget to shoot a couple pictures of my own kids once in a while because before I know it they will be the ones going to prom and graduating *SNIFF, SNIFF* 

With the end of the school year approaching I am forced to come to the realization that my baby will be starting pre-school after summer and Landen will be in 2nd grade! How did that happen?!?

My goal this summer is to have as much quality time with the both of them as I can because I know I will never have them at these fun ages again I need to hang on to them while I can! First thing on the agenda, camping!!! My favorite thing to do in the summer, I can't wait! I have already written out a nature scavenger hunt, my meal plan, and the check list for what we need! Now to find some more activities to keep them happy!
